The Tree of Knowledge is a metaphor which has been used as a structural concept for the pitch of this 11.500 m2, educational building built over seven-storeys. A connecting element, the Trunk, acts as the visual link for identity of the entire community of the Alpha-college. Input was given by many users, directing the elaboration and character of the specific departments. For this, as well as large Trunk pieces of the furniture were designed by us, the Nests regulated the spaces and reflects specific identities. The graphic print on the glass walls, symbolise the branch out of knowledge through the institute.
